Here at Hercules we do things right to protect your investment and make sure your vinyl fence looks great for years to come. First, we use 6 foot sections for all of our vinyl privacy fence installations. They are stronger than 8 foot sections, with posts ever 6 feet. 8 foot sections can be slightly cheaper, however they are prone to sagging over time especially when exposed to the intense Florida summer sun.
Another step we take to preserve your vinyl privacy fence is to concrete every post. Many of our competitors only concrete the gate posts, but we feel it is important to concrete each and every post. Here is why… Your vinyl fence is like a giant sail. During heavy winds and hurricanes, you want to make sure your post is anchored solidly to avoid leaning or even fallen fences. During the hurricanes of 2004, we received many calls to repair fallen and leaning fences, but none of them were our original installations. Our installations held strong during the hurricane’s high winds.
Finally, we fill the entire gate posts with concrete. This inhibits sagging and leaning over time, so that after years of use the gate will continue to swing properly. You won’t have to worry about your gate hitting the ground forcing you to lift in order to shut it, putting unnecessary stress on other parts of your gate and fence.
